You can appear for exam when you are ready for it. Its valid for 5 years. So if you don't wan't any gap after completion of your degree, then better appear for it now as after August 2011 GRE format is gonna change and  I guess it will be more difficult than present one. And to get admission in fall sept 2012 you better apply for universities by dec 2011(if you wanna get into some good one)

give next year by practising CAT questions!!!! bcoz CAT requires practice or training institute to help in practising questions i suggest give CAT next year!!

hey frnd u shud nt worry abut this matter,in the first u shud identify urself wot do u wana do n wot kind of business u wana star t,take a perticular field of ur liking n collect ol info abut that ,n surely u`ll do the best
