Trigonometry

It involves the use of various concepts and identities which sometimes seem to be a problem for students in general. The topic requires a very sound base in geometry and related concepts. Through scientifically designed program in trigonometry, we provide an opportunity to our high school students to first strengthen their basics and then proceed towards the advanced concepts.

Module-II	Trigonometric Identities Understanding Fundamental Identities Verifying Trigonometric Identities Solving Trigonometric Identities Finding Sum and Difference of trigonometric identities Half and double angle formulas	7 hrs
Module-III	Application of Trigonometry Finding the unknown sides or angles of a right triangle using trigonometry Law of Sines and Cosines Finding Area Converting Polar coordinates of a point to Rectangular coordinates and vice versa Convertinge quations from rectangular coordinates to polar coordinates. Word problems	7 hrs
Module-IV	Application in Complex Numbers Representing a Complex number in polar form Multiplying complex numbers in polar forms DeMoivre’s theorem	5 hrs
