Our tutoring model is based on our unique five-step approach, which not only guarantees better academic performance but also boosts the confidence of the student.
Pre-Assessment Test
We gauge a child's level of knowledge with a Pre-Assessment Test (PAT). An academic counselor assesses the child and stays with him or her throughout the tutoring program.
Mapping of PAT Results & Consultation with Parents
The academic counselor discusses the PAT result with parents and evaluates areas where improvement is needed.
Individualized Tutoring Plan
We believe each child is unique and that children's intellectual needs are also unique. Based on the PAT, we prepare an Individualized Tutoring Plan (ITP), determining the tutoring hours needed for different topics. Parent and student then go to our website and schedules the sessions.
One-to-One Tutoring Sessions & Post Assessment Tests
Our one-on-one tutoring sessions ensure that the student gets the attention he or she deserves. The student is guided by a live tutor, who explains the concepts with computer-based lesson modules. Each session is followed by online feedback from the parent and/or student. Feedback helps to shape and improve subsequent sessions. But one-on-one tutoring is not enough; periodic tests are also important. They keep the child motivated during the learning process. Post-Assessment Tests reinforce lessons learned -- and can help the child develop a love of the subject.
We've found that, after a few successful Post-Assessment Tests, the student turns from external motivation to self-motivation. Independent studying follows as the child becomes more driven and less dependent on parents and tutors.
Final Assessment Test
At the last stage, we take a final assessment test to make sure that the student has reached the desired level of comprehension. When that goal is met, it's not just the child who has won, but also the tutor. So we too are driven to make sure your child succeeds.
